What’s new
A new look, and plugin and sample checks you can trust - A new look: the app's own screens (sign-in, app lock, This computer, crash recovery, local projects) now match the redesigned web app, in all seven languages. - The tray menu starts with a status line (Signed in, Offline — uploads paused, Signed out — backups paused), and the tray icon's tooltip says the same in your language. On a Mac the menu bar icon is now a clean monochrome glyph. - Cubase's own effects (Compressor, Gate, MonoDelay and the rest) no longer show up as missing plugins. - FL Studio's VST2 plugins are matched by their plugin ID, so they no longer read "not found" on a computer that has them. - A project lists each plugin by the name your computer knows it by (Serum 2, not Serum2), so Prodboard can tell which of your computers has it. The plugin list also opens faster. - Ableton: Live 10 sets now show their samples, and files from Ableton's Core Library and Packs are no longer counted as missing or as outside your project folder. - Safer sharing: shares refuse risky file types no music project needs, such as macro Office documents, disk images and installer packages, and the app will not place them in your project when you accept a collaborator's files. Your projects, backups and settings carry over.
